PCSO James Slater initiated a CCTV Watch Group with the residents in the Leyland area. The Group was launched, due to the reoccurring crime taking place within this area, such as anti-social behaviour nuisance, burglaries and many domestic incidents and targeted incidents against vulnerable individuals. CCTV, property marking technology and other security measures were provided to the residents in this area with an aim to prevent further crime and to make residents feel reassured.
