Home Safety Tips
Fit and set a burglar alarm.
Lock all your doors and windows and keep your keys out of sight.
Leave a light on other than the hallway light and draw your curtains if you go out at night.
Mark any important or expensive items with your postcode and house number using a security marker and keep them out of sight.
Keep a record of the make, model and serial numbers of all electrical equipment.
Buy home insurance. It's cheaper than paying out to replace stolen possessions. Remember if you dont lock your house, your insurance may not cover you.
