LANPAC Annual Dinner 2010

A complimentary drinks reception was followed by a delicious five course meal and wine plus first class entertainment from the legendary Frank Carson.

The LANPAC Chairman, Jimmy Armfield, had the pleasure of welcoming the High Sheriff and the Chief Constable as well as his special guests from the 1966 World Cup Winning Team, Sir Bobby Charlton, Roger Hunt, John Connelly and Ian Callaghan.

Two award winning projects, funded by LANPAC, were also featured at the dinner. The Witton Park High School Allotment Project was the winner of the High Sheriff of Lancashire’s Shrievalty Rosebowl and the Hyndburn Snooker Youth Club Project won the best entry at the 2010 Lancashire Problem Oriented Partnerships competition.

A raffle and auction also took place during the evening and we are grateful to all who contributed. The event raised over £3,000 for the chairty.
