Business Crime Consultation Event
Would you like to be consulted on the development of a new Business Crime Reduction Centre at the University of Central Lancashire?
A Business Crime Consultation seminar will be held by LANPAC member the University of Central Lancashire
on Tuesday, January 13th 2009 at Lancashire Constabulary HQ, Hutton.
It is vital to keep the workplace as safe as possible, not only as a responsibility to your staff
but also to yourself and your business, but is it as secure as it could be?
Are issues of e-crime, fraud, theft, burglary, vandalism etc. of concern to you?
Would you like some help and advice that is specific to the business community?
A proposed new business Crime Reduction centre will aim to draw upon the expertise across the region to formulate a programme of activities to:-
· address the complex issue of business crime
· improve the safety and security of the region’s businesses and industrial estates
· increase the knowledge and understanding of crime prevention techniques, including designing out crime
· development of accredited business crime advisor courses
· develop a bank of ‘experts’ in specialist areas
· promote appropriate, realistic and cost effective security methods for businesses and the community
The consultation seminar will start at 8.00am with buffet breakfast, programme to start at 8.30am,
and will conclude at approximately 11.00am with coffee and networking.
This event if FREE to attend but all delegates must register before the day.
